In honor of the great spirit of our founder, Noel de Caprio, I am proud to announce that Fairfield County Hospice will be the recipient of all future Noëlle charity functions.
…I have inherent emotions that often surface unexpectedly…triggers to those emotions can be as diverse as a sunset over the water or a kid’s smiling face…oftentimes emotions are held in check even as lumps choke my throat and water clouds my eyes…mostly these signs hide behind a feigned cough or a stoic grin…such concealment failed me completely the other day…and the effect was liberating and inspiring…
…standing in an unpaved drive amid the hustle of a construction project nearing completion I was struck…emotionally by what I saw…spiritually by what I felt…and humanly most of all…
…in front of me was a project born of great compassion and vision…a hospice…a house, a home…designed as a loving family might do so…brought to life so they could experience it… sinking into its comfort…sharing their lives in it, as families do…
…this is 1 Den Road…home to Fairfield County Hospice…
…that visit stirred me…their attitude touched me…my support is entire…
