OUR STORY

The Day Spa Industry was created by Noëlle De Caprio, founder of Noëlle Spa for Beauty and Wellness, in the early 1970s.

Her dream was to bring European-style spa services to her Connecticut clientele.

In 1960, Noëlle was one of four partners who owned an upscale salon, HRH (Her Royal Highness), in Stamford, CT. There, she introduced the “Day of Beauty” a unique experience combining traditional hair and nail care with facials and massages. After a glowing New York Times review, it became a national sensation.

In 1982, Gillette Corporation partnered with Noëlle to expand her vision across the country. That same year, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and given three months to live but she chose to live fully, continuing to grow her business, guide others, and inspire countless women for fourteen more years.

Today, Noëlle Spa for Beauty and Wellness stands as a tribute to her courage, creativity, and love of life.

It is more than a business it’s a story of resilience, beauty, and purpose.
